About Us

All you need to know about the Salisbury City FC Supporters Club

WE ARE:

This is your Supporters Club and for it to be a success we need your support. Whether that be attending the social events, contributing your ideas, helping out with promoting the football club or buying 50/50 tickets all are as important as the other. Together lets get more people cheering on the team we love, joining the Supporters Club and making it a real success. Please encourage others to join.

At the 2011 Annual General Meeting the following officers were elected to the committee of the Supporters Club.

OUR AIMS:

There are several purposes to the Supporters Club, see constitution for full details:

Bring fans together through regular social events.

Raise money for the benefit of Supporters Club as well as Salisbury City FC.

Assist the football club to promote Salisbury City FC encouraging more people to support the Whites.

EVENTS:

We have organised a number of social events through to the end of the season which it is hoped will appeal to all supporters. The majority of these will be hosted in the Sarum Suite at the Raymond McEnhill Stadium.

Hopefully these events will appeal to all, if you have other ideas for events which you think will be fun please e-mail or post your ideas in the Supporters Club post box in the Sarum Suite.

FUNDRAISING:

The social events in addition to bringing supporters together will also raise money which will be used for the benefit of the Supporters Club as well as the football club. The regular fundraiser is the 50/50 draw, with half of what is taken being paid as a cash prize and the other half retained by the Supporters Club. Money raised by the 50/50 has helped pay for such things as the upkeep of the pitch. Although it may sound a small contribution, it does help the football club. Thank you for supporting this and if you are able to please continue to do so. As a non-profit making "members" club any profit we do make from social events, sponsorships, promotions or activities can and will be used for the benefit of supporters.

PROMOTING SCFC:

The Supporters Club put posters up around the city centre and surrounding areas in pubs, in shops, in restaurants to advertise upcoming matches - if you can display these please contact us. In addition to this a hardy group of volunteers including Chalkie the Panda have on occasion handed out leaflets to shoppers in the city centre on a Saturday morning. The aim of this is to raise awareness amongst the people of Salisbury and surrounding areas of the football club and also so they know when home matches are taking place, ultimately with the aim to increase attendances and to encourage more people to follow The Whites. If you are able to help with this, whether it be by displaying a poster, distributing posters or by handing out leaflets on occasion we would like to hear from you.
